IBI (Intensive Behavior Intervention) is a structured approach that uses the principles of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) to help your child learn. This therapy is used with children with autism to support their learning and behaviours. IBI involves:

  • Individualized programs and goalsĀ  for each child based on their strengths and weaknesses
  • Intensive therapy that is usually 20-40 hours per week
  • Discrete trial training in one to one structured programming
  • Small group instructions
  • Activity based learning
  • Incidental teaching
  • 1:1 support with an Instructor Therapist and ongoing supervisions with Senior Therapist and Clinical Supervisor
