Parent Observation
Understanding Behavior
Parents can witness firsthand how their child interacts with therapists, educators, or peers, gaining insight into specific behaviors and triggers.
Learning Techniques
Parents observe the strategies and teachings being employed by professionals, which they can later apply at home.
Building Confidence
Observing their child’s progress can boost parents’ confidence in implementing techniques and managing behaviors.
Duration
These sessions usually last anywhere from 1 hour to a few hours, depending on the setting and activities being observed.
Once goals are set and therapy is in place, we offer parent observation sessions which are structured
opportunities that allow parents to observe their child during therapeutic and educational activities. The primary
objective of these sessions is to enhance parental understanding of their child’s behaviours, strengths, and
needs within a supportive environment.
